Live: The Apples in Stereo "I Can't Believe" 2.9.07

The Apples in Stereo put on a great show this past Friday night at Top Cats. I found it pretty incredible to see an actual living member of the Elephant 6 collective! And then Robert mentioned that Bill Doss was playing tamborine! That's two Elephant 6 members in one show! Wow!

The Apples play some perfect pop music but for an Elephant Sixer, Robert really wasn't as 'psychedelic' as I thought he would be.

Vintage: Death Cab for Cutie "Company Calls"

Soooo, here's my proof that "I was there first."

Back in 2001, my good friend and I went to see Death Cab for Cutie play up in Detroit at The Magic Stick. We videotaped the show and edited the footage together using the album track audio. This is before we really knew what we were doing so don't judge it on the editing or shooting. Simply enjoy looking back on the young, skinny Ben Gibbard and the "Before They Were Stars..." Death Cab.
